Will Celebrity Guests be there all weekend long?

Yes! They’ll be at their tables all two days — from open to close — for autographs, selfies, merch, and to meet fans!

Do I need a TICKET?

Can I purchase a TICKET at the event?

YES, if we are NOT SOLD OUT. *Buy online now

We will have posters with our QR CODE to our ticketing website at the door. Just scan the QR code and purchase a ticket online at the event.  Then walk up to our check-in tables and scan your ticket from your cell.

We will be able to accept a CREDIT CARD/DEBIT at the door, but tickets will be more $.

What TIME should I arrive as an attendee?

Any time during show hours. Tickets will be on sale all 2 days at the door provided they don’t sell out in advance.

Can the event can sell out?

Accepted Answer

YES. The venue can only hold so many people and as such, we have allotted a certain number of tickets for Sat/Sun. We will keep track and make “low ticket alert” announcements on social media if either day that is getting near sell out.

I purchased a Saturday ticket but have decided to come on Sunday instead, is that okay?

Accepted Answer

Pre-purchased tickets are non-transferrable. If you show up on Sunday with a “Saturday” ticket, you will need to purchase a new ticket to gain entry.

Does my ticket also cover celebrity autograph fees & photo-ops?

Accepted Answer

NO,  your ticket purchase gets you entry into the event, allows you to shop the vendors, entry into the panel discussions, and the chance to line up and purchase a celebrity autograph/photo.

Are KIDS allowed?

YES : Kids under 12 years old are free (limited two kids per adult ticket)

My costume has a weapon, is that okay?
All costume props must be inspected at the front desk. Because of safety reasons, we cannot allow any real or sharp weapons into the venue.

Autographs are priced at the discretion of the talent. But starting at $20 and up

With their permission, yes.

Can I take a photo with a celebrity?

Accepted Answer

That is at the discretion of the celebrity, and most will charge additional for that photo. Like autograph prices, we will post photo prices in advance when/if we get them. That said, there are certain celebrities who will only offer professional photo ops.

What  is a “Professional Photo-Op”?

MHC partners with a professional photography company who will take professional photos with professional equipment in a room that is properly lit and has a backdrop. Attendees who purchase these photo ops will receive an 8×10 glossy copy of the photo at the show and can purchase the option for a digital copy or duplicates if you have more than one friend in the photo with you. What happens if the celebrity you are coming to meet cancels?

Accepted Answer

All guest appearances are subject to change or cancellation. Guests may cancel or alter their schedules due to illness, injury, professional commitments, travel issues, or other circumstances beyond the Convention’s control.

In the event of a cancellation, the Columbus Horror Con and its promoters cannot be held responsible. We will automatically refund any specific photo-op tickets purchased for the canceled guest. However, general admission, weekend passes, and other event tickets are non-refundable for individual guest changes, as the convention will still feature many other guests, vendors, panels, and programming.

What happens if the convention is canceled?

Accepted Answer

If the convention is canceled and not rescheduled, all ticket purchases and vendor table fees will be refunded within 30 days. If the convention is rescheduled, all tickets and vendor spaces will automatically transfer to the new event date.

Real weapons, including machetes, are not permitted inside the convention.
If you would like an item signed, please bring a replica, prop, or safely secured version that complies with event safety guidelines.
